Equipment/Device Data Screen (Service History tab)
The Equipment/Device Data screen provides detailed information about equipment. It can be opened from various screens by clicking on the serial number of the equipment. The most common way to open it is through the Equipment List screen, which is described in the steps below. The Equipment List screen offers an overview of the equipment, while this screen provides detailed information.
The Equipment/Device Data screen has up to seven tabs. This help topic discusses the information found under the Service History tab. This tab provides information about service activity that was completed. The service could have been performed by your company’s technicians or by STERIS technicians.
Perform the following steps to access the Equipment/Device Data screen.
Steps
Step 1. Click on the Equipment icon in the menu. The Equipment List screen displays.

Step 2. Find the equipment you want to see more information about and click on its serial number. Its Equipment/Device Data screen displays with the Device Data tab selected.
Step 3. Select the Service History tab.

ITEM | DESCRIPTION |
Service Action Report | If a File icon For most preventative maintenance activities, the STERIS Equipment Service technician fills out this form. It lists the steps the technician performed during that activity, for example: what was changed, verified, etc. There may not be a report for some types of equipment, like legacy equipment or accessories. |
Field Service Report | If a File icon This report provides an estimate of the services. It includes: billing information, description of the service that needed to be performed, the service request number, date the service request was opened and closed, part replacement information, actions or diagnostics performed by technician, service charges, etc. |
Service Request # | Number assigned to the service request when it was submitted to STERIS |
Date | Day the service request was completed |
Performed By | STERIS technician that performed the requested service |
Description | Description of the tasks performed |
Activity | Type of service performed. Examples include: PM-Preventative Maintenance, Field Repair, and Specialty service. |
