There are several points of entry to begin a Service Request:

  • "Request Service" quick action icon in the top navigation
  • "Create Service Request" button on an asset details page
  • "Send For Service" action on the 'Recommended for Service' page


This article focuses on how to create a Service Request from an asset in your inventory.



1. Click the 'ASSETS' icon in the top navigation. In the menu, click on "All Assets."




2. Browse, filter, sort, or search and find your specific asset. For example, you can search by Serial, Category, Manufacturer or Model. 


Enter what you want to search and click the SEARCH button.





3. Once you've located your asset, click on the Serial number to open the asset's detail page. 



4. On the asset details page, click on the CREATE SERVICE REQUEST button.




5. The Service Request has been drafted, showing your asset's data. Just select a Department and verify the Contact and click the NEXT: SHIPPING button to verify shipping details. 





6. Once on the Shipping Verification page, complete the required fields with the return shipping information. Click the SUBMIT & PRINT button.





7. You will see a notification indicating the Service Request submission was successful. Click 'See More' to view more details. Click 'PRINT' to print the Service Request paperwork, including the Packing Slip and Shipping Label for each shipment.





8. Follow the instructions on the paperwork to pack, ship, and track your item.
